EDUCATION - PUBLIC COURSES
JET SKI CERTIFICATION
Effective 1 January 2004,
all persons who operate a PWC
in New York State must have
a New York State Boating Safety Certificate.
Students will be awarded the certificate
upon successful completion of an approved course.
The Jet Smart course
is no longer offered separately.
The information contained in
Jet Smart is included in more
comprehensive courses like
America's Boating Course and
the NYS Young Boaters course.
