SAFE BOATING WEEK

NATIONAL SAFE BOATING WEEK
20-26 May 2017
www.SafeBoatingCampaign.com

           Wearing life jackets saves lives.
             Boater education saves lives.
                   Safe boats saves lives.
                Sober boating saves lives.

As boating season approaches, 450 squadrons across the nation, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and even in Tokyo Japan are spreading the message of safe and responsible boating. This year we hope to educate the boating community about life jacket wear and the options that are available when it comes to comfortable and lightweight jackets. We are also working closely with our partner organizations to create a larger grassroots network and create a consistent safety message. We hope these efforts will increase awareness about the importance of wearing life jackets while on the water.

Safe Boating Week will also be observed with news reports, public safety demonstrations, poster contests, and many other events designed to raise boating safety awareness.
Use the links to the left to learn more about boating safety and the EDUCATION link to learn about boating courses that are available in the Peconic Bay area.

Don't become a boating accident statistic.
